Direction from Airport

The airport is about 15 miles from the center of Paris.
We can go to Paris using a taxi, a "limousine", a reserved taxi (someone will wait for you at the exit) , a train (RER) or a bus.

• The train RER will take 35 minutes to get to the center and it will cost 9 euros per person, 1/2 price if you are younger than 18 yo. It is at terminal 2. If you arrive at terminal 2 , you can just walk to it. If you arrive at another terminal you will have to take a free shuttle for 10 minutes.

• A taxi will cost you between 40 and 50 Euros. On top of the fare displayed on the cab, they do charge couple of Euros for each luggage you put in the trunk.
Typically, you should add few Euros tips to make around number, not exceeding 10%. For instance if the driver says 47 Euros, you can give 50 Euros

• You can also use a limousine service or a reserved taxi, such as Taxi Jacques. ( home 01-39-13-44-32, mobile 06.07.22.76.87, email jacques.grenet@wanadoo.fr). Taxi Jacques will wait for you with a sign at the airport.

• There are also Air France buses which go directly to Paris ( Invalides or Concorde)

I strongly recommend you to take a cab especially if your party is more than 2 persons.
Considering the luggage, the jetlag, the fatigue of the trip, the time to find the buses, the time to find the street, and the price to use public transportation ( 9 euros per person), it is a deal to use a cab ( 40-50 euros)
