Ile St. Louis is a small island in the exact center of Paris, 6 by 2 blocks of 16th and 17th century stone buildings, a unique neighborhood in an unique city.
You will really feel that it's an island. There are no buses and subways. People walk peacefully and shop and eat in the beautiful stores of the main street. You get to choose: the bridge to the Right Bank or the one to the Left Bank, But once over the bridges, just 1 minute away, you will be in the intense heart of Paris. Three metro stations are only few minutes away. No wonder why it is the most expensive neighborhood in Paris.

This authentic Parisian apartment is located in a 16th-century building on the 6th floor (with no elevator) above a "boulangerie", bread and cake bakery whose the smell will make you rush downstairs to get your refill of croissants. The rooms are quiet, really charming and you will enjoy your own large private terrace ( 160 sq ft) with wonderful view of Paris rooftops and of Notre-Dame bell tower!The Latin Quarter on the Left Bank, and the Marais on the Right Bank, are just short strolls away. Where else can you be if you want to discover Paris without wasting time with transportation.

On the same street. Rue Saint Louis en l'Isle is a famous street for the freshness and quality of the food. You will be 20 yards from the famous best ice cream store in Paris.
For more shopping, go on rue Saint Antoine, there is a Monoprix, kind of general store, open everyday except Sundays.
On rue de Rivoli, there is the famous BHV, for everything but food.
